What we are looking for…

is, as always, an understanding of how the world works, but because that can’t be understood in any lifetime, we’ll settle for thinking about how parts of the world could work.

Just to tell you something about us, we do not hold degrees in philosophy, urban planning, social sciences, or have jobs in politics, architecture, media, or social networks. 

The subjects we will explore are based on personal interests, combined with a creative license to investigate, understand, and frame them to set a new fictional narrative.

That’s right, fictional:

Why? 

Well, that’s a great question, and thanks for asking!

In a world where trust, our greatest good, is being eroded, we believe that through fiction, something that’s already established to be fake, it’s easier to connect to new ideas and contexts.

Concepts that you would normally discard in the “real” world can find a fresh perspective through fiction.

Nomads and Pioneers have the mindset to approach things in different ways, both do this with an enduring tenacity, by moving with the flow or just pushing through the stream. A balance that we appreciate, and the reason for naming our site.

Every Edition of Nomads and Pioneers will be a fictional website of a company set in the near future. Imagining how choices made by different generations might bear results in a variety of ways. 

You can agree or disagree, but every edition will help you frame your point of view of potential futures. You might love it, hate it, or maybe you just feel underwhelmed.
